You haven’t eaten steak, until you try one from Lone Star Steak House. The food and the atmosphere combine to give you an unforgettable dining experience. Let me paint a picture in your mind of my last trip to Lone Star Steak House. As soon as I pulled into the parking lot, the pleasant aroma of steak and onions filled the air. Walking up the sidewalk to the door, I looked in the window and saw customers enjoying an experience similar to the one I was about to partake in. I opened the door and was greeted by the cool, crisp air conditioning which was such a contrast from the sweltering outside heat, that I almost lost my breath. Cordial workers greeted me and led me to a booth in the middle of the restaurant. Fans spun up ahead, but they surprisingly made no sound to disrupt the atmosphere. Country music entreated entrance into my eardrums as I looked at the menu. The menu was filled with numerous delectable choices, so I took my time with my order. I settled on a San Antonio Sirloin with a baked potato and sour cream. To hold me over before the main entrée, I ordered a Texas Rose as an appetizer. The breaded onions appealed my eyes with the intricate layout they were in, but the true appeal came from the taste. One bite of a Texas Rose, and it hooks you like a Venus Fly-Trap capturing a fly. By far, the Texas Rose is the best appetizer in the world of culinary dining. When the main entrée arrived, the aroma of the spices on the steak made the steak seem even more appealing than when I ordered it. After I poured some A-1 steak sauce on the Sirloin, I proceeded to embark on a delicious adventure. The steak’s juices flowed out of the meat like the Nile River. It is impossible to describe the immense flavor of the steak and potato. As I finish the last piece of the almost celestial steak, I let out a sigh of pure satisfaction. Full from the meal, I took a tooth pick from the front desk, and proceeded to step outside of the mini paradise and back into the real world.
